It has always been my dream to become an event planner, so unlike many I knew just what my calling was when I headed off to college. When I got to Auburn I was told there were two majors I could choose from that the University offered in this field, one being Public relations and the other Hotel and Restaurant Management, I quickly chose HRMT and never looked back. So here I am today just counting down the days till I graduate and thanking God and the HRMT program for this wonderful journey!
After a memorable family vacation, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in Hospitality. I want a career that allows me to help create those special memories for other families. Upon graduation in May, I am going to pursue a career in hotel management.
Growing up the oldest of five children in rural North Alabama, I have deep Southern roots and an appreciation for family and tradition. As a young child, my parents instilled in me that the only proper way to treat anyone was to put them before myself. This value directed my educational and career interests to hospitality. I love being able to shape experiences and create memories for the people I am around and can't wait for my future!
My name is Jennifer Jolly and I'm a senior in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I'm from Franklin, TN. I chose to major in HRMT because after working in restaurants all through high school and much volunteer work, I love to serve and bring happiness to others.
