A team of over twenty event planners are fully engaged with the planning, organizing, and execution of the 22nd staging of THE Hospitality GALA. The team is comprised of hotel leaders and HRMT faculty advisors and students. Although team members have more focused responsibilities in either marketing or operations, there is collaboration on the creation of silent and live auction packages.  Team members work to secure enviable travel and leisure package donations that are of exceptional value to our guests by engaging and interacting with sponsors/donors.

The eight member marketing team is comprised of two hotel mentors, Mr. Hans van der Reijden and Ms. Allison Duke, one HRMT faculty advisor, Dr. Alecia C. Douglas, and five HRMT students. The objective of the Marketing Team is to design, produce, and deliver/publish printed materials and other collateral materials that supports the marketing activities necessary for the successful staging of THE Hospitality GALA. The team is tasked with the development, execution and communication of the vision of THE GALA through printed, electronic and social means. The Event Planners

The thirteen member operations team is comprised of four hotel mentors, Mr. Adam Keeshan, Mrs. Mary Louise Kennedy, and Ms. Marlena Gillis, one HRMT faclty advisor, Ms. Gwen Lloyd, and eight HRMT students. The objective of the Operations Team is to concentrate on the people (chefs, winemakers, servers, and volunteers), food and beverage, and decor that will be brought together to execute THE Hospitality GALA. Impeccable coordination is required in order to manage this symphony of logistical and functional requirements and expectations. The team also seeks to elevate the experience of our guests through all five senses thus making THE GALA a truly unforgettable experience. The ultimate goal for the team is to flawlessly execute the evening's offerings with precision and professionalism in all areas and above all, to delight our guests with exceptional service bar none!
